Join our interdisciplinary team of a speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, and physical therapist for an engaging, family-centered presentation designed especially for caregivers of young children (ages 0–6) with Angelman Syndrome. This interactive session celebrates what your child can do—while helping you feel confident supporting what’s coming next. We’ll briefly review common developmental strengths and challenges for young children with Angelman Syndrome across communication, fine motor/sensory, and gross motor development—always grounded in real-life expectations for your child’s chronological age. Then comes the fun part: turning everyday play into powerful learning. Together, families will: Identify one meaningful skill they’d love their child to improve (such as communication, balance, attention, or participation), and Create one simple, fun activity that targets that skill using an integrated approach—combining speech, movement, and sensory support. Our setting? The park. Slides, swings, open space, and shared play become natural tools for building skills, connection, and confidence. You’ll leave with practical ideas you can use right away—no special equipment required. Come play, learn, and grow with us—because the best therapy happens when families are empowered, and learning feels like fun.
Recommended for family members, friends, caregivers, and professionals, as well as individuals with Angelman syndrome under age 6.
