Lauren DeValk received her masters degree in occupational therapy at Saint Louis University in 2016. Lauren has her Board Certification in Pediatrics (BCP) from the American Occupational Therapy Association. Lauren specializes in sensory processing differences, especially amongst individuals with rare chromosomal abnormalities in clinic and hospital settings. Lauren currently works at Children’s Hospital of Colorado in an outpatient pediatric hospital setting. Lauren has worked on a multidisciplinary team to start an adaptive dental desensitization clinic that helps individuals work on preparing for a dental exam using environmental modifications and sensory supports. Lauren is a team member of Chromosome 15 Clinic, which sees patients throughout the lifespan with Angelman Syndrome. Lauren finds great joy in supporting these individuals and their families reach their infinite potential!
