Professional Bio
I am a graduate student at in the laboratory of Dr. Benjamin Philpot at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Philpot Lab studies the molecular, cellular, and circuit mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental disorders, including Angelman and Dup15q syndromes. My research involves studying the contribution of HERC2 and UBE3A overexpression to Dup15q syndrome and the overall role of HERC2 in neurodevelopment.
