Eric Wright, Ed.D., LPC serves as a Student Success Coach in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Louisville, where he has worked full-time for eight years and brings more than 30 years of experience in education and counseling across K–12 and higher education settings. Passionate about helping individuals overcome barriers to academic success, social-emotional wellness, and career development, he is known for his collaborative approach and strong record of student support.

Dr. Wright also serves as Executive Director of Cope’s Hope Equine Assisted Services, where he leads therapeutic programs that promote emotional and psychological well-being through equine-assisted interventions. He has published and presented on topics related to disability, education, and equine therapy and actively serves on state boards and in nonprofit organizations.

He holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration, a Master’s degree in Professional School Counseling, a Graduate Certificate in Developmental Disabilities, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor.
