Cesar Ochoa-Lubinoff, is a Professor of Pediatrics and Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics/Angelman Program Director at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles California.
Prior to moving to California in June 2023, Dr. Ochoa-Lubinoff served as a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics Director at the Rush University Medical Center (RUMC) from 2009 to 2023. Dr. Ochoa-Lubinoff started and was the co-Director of the Angelman Syndrome Program at the RUMC from 2016 to 2023.
Board-certified in pediatrics and developmental-behavioral pediatrics, Dr. Ochoa-Lubinoff joined the Rush University Medical Center in 2009. He has dedicated his clinical career to providing medical care to patients with neurodevelopmental and neurogenetic disorders. He has been an investigator in clinical trials for targeted brain treatments for patients living with Autism, Down syndrome, Angelman syndrome, Dup 15 syndrome, and Pitt Hopkins syndrome.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ochoa-Lubinoff has been active in education and training, working with undergraduates, medical students, residents, fellow physicians, and postdoctoral research trainees. Dr. Ochoa-Lubinoff has been involved in Angelman syndrome advocacy and is a member of the Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics (FAST) Scientific Advisory Board and the Angelman Syndrome Foundation Clinical Trials Committee.
