Colin Muething, PhD, BCBA-D is a prominent figure in the field of behavior analysis and treatment of complex behaviors exhibited by children with developmental disabilities. He holds a doctorate in school psychology from The University of Texas at Austin and has completed his doctoral internship and post-doctoral residency at Marcus Autism Center. Muething serves as an Associate Professor and Distinguished Psychologist in the Department of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine. Muething is the current Director of the Complex Behavior Support Program and served as the President of the Georgia Association of Behavior Analysis. Muething was appointed by the Governor of Georgia to the Board of Examiners of Psychologists. He has been recognized for his significant contributions to the field, including being named a 2024 Atlanta Business Chronicles 40 Under 40 award and a 2022 Outstanding Young Texas Ex.
