Moon Durham-West is a Ph.D. student in Human Development and Family Science at Purdue University working in the Sleep and Developmental Studies Laboratory (Director, Dr. A.J. Schwichtenberg). Their work investigates the complexities of sleep and development in pediatric populations with neurodevelopmental and neurogenetic conditions. Moon has a deep commitment to improving the lives of children and their families through translational research. Moon’s current research builds on a collaboration between Purdue University and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill – with detailed sleep assessments of infants/toddlers with Angelman syndrome or Fragile X syndrome.
